About The Position

The Stout School of Education at High Point University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the TQP grant. This is a 12-month, full-time, federally grant-funded position for five years, starting October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2031. The role involves facilitating communication with university and school district partners, marketing and recruiting for the program to ensure sustainability, planning and coordinating meetings and events, monitoring student progress, processing budgetary requests, managing program operations, working with an external evaluator on program effectiveness data, and maintaining program information on the school's website. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of successful full-time work experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Online Learning Management Systems (BlackBoard, Canvas, Moodle)
  • Virtual Meeting Tools (Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet)
  • Learning Technologies for Engaged Online Learning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing programs or projects with quantifiable impacts
  • Experience working with federal grant programs

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating communication among the university school district partners
  • Marketing, promoting, and recruiting for the aspiring teachers and principals such that program activities are sustainable after the grant funding expires
  • Planning and coordinating meetings and events for aspiring teachers and principals
  • Monitoring student success and progress throughout the program of study
  • Processing budgetary requests and purchase orders through the university’s procurement system
  • Managing program operations at the request of the Director of the TQP Grant
  • Working with an external evaluator to collect, analyze, and report out on program effectiveness data
  • Maintaining program information on the school’s website
