About The Position

Key Rehab is seeking a Full-time Program Coordinator-OTA/PTA to join their team in providing excellent care in the Mt. Pleasant, IA area within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role involves serving as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff, minimizing administrative burden, and supporting clinicians in delivering therapy services. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating staffing and daily scheduling to meet performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program
  • Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned
  • CPR, as required by community
  • Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law
  • Other items as required by federal, state and local standards

  • Prior experience in long term care setting
  • Prior experience in service coordination
  • Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.

  • Provide therapy under their disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA)
  • Serve as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff
  • Minimize administrative burden and provide support to allow clinicians to deliver therapy services
  • Coordinate staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor
