The Program Coordinator, Student Involvement is a member of a team of professionals within the Student Activities Office (SAO) responsible for the active advising and support of student clubs and organizations, as well as training and leadership development, recognizing the importance of student involvement in student success and community on campus. As a member of the Student Involvement Team, the Program Coordinator supports the recognition, registration, event support, and policy compliance of 500+ clubs and organizations. This position provides direction and assistance to major student organizations such as the First Undergraduate Experience in Leadership and a class council, and is a resource for student leaders in planning and executing programs. The Program Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director for Student Involvement and is a full-time 12-month position with a significant amount of late-night and weekend programming responsibilities throughout the academic year, as well as some limited evening and weekend responsibilities throughout the summer.
