The Environmental Dispute Resolution (EDR) Program fosters a culture of collaboration around environmental, community, and broader public policy issues by helping people be more skillful in working through conflict. The Program is based in the School of Social Sciences and is a partner of the Heravi Peace Institute. It focuses on building capacity for collaboration through training, thought leadership, and collaboration assistance and advising. The Program Coordinator, Senior serves as the EDR Progam. This person plans, coordinates, and implements the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the EDR program. Working with the EDR Program Director, this position designs, coordinates, and implements EDR Program initiatives and activities, including; developing and implementing policies, initiatives, and strategies; administering educational materials and trainings; providing collaboration assistance and advising; managing staff; preparing program budgets and goals, overseeing finances, and ensuring continued funding; and maintaining program continuity and quality. This position reports to the EDR Program Director and may be filled at the 0.75 or 1.0 FTE level. This FTE may shift over time, depending on the incumbent’s preferences and program needs. This position is telework eligible within the state of Utah.
