About The Position

As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love. Program Coordinator supports Powertrain projects by coordinating team activities, tracking schedules and deliverables, and ensuring effective communication. This position assists with Powertrain project planning, scheduling, documentation, reporting, risk tracking, and customer communications while maintaining compliance with company policies and automotive industry standards.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–5 years of project coordination, project administration, or project support experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or other project management software.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

  • Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with planning, execution, and completion of automotive programs.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and action item trackers.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and distribute follow-up actions.
  • Monitor project deliverables and proactively communicate schedule risks or delays.
  • Track project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expenditures assigned.
  • Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, logistics, suppliers, and customers.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, change requests, status reports, and customer deliverables.
  • Assist with new product launches, engineering changes, and production readiness activities.
  • Support customer reporting requirements and ensure timely communication of project updates.
  • Monitor open issues and drive resolution through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with resource planning and project workload coordination.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with company procedures and applicable automotive quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes.
  • Prepare project dashboards, metrics, and executive status reports.
  • Perform additional project coordination duties as assigned.
