About The Position

HealthPartners/GHI is looking to hire a Medication Therapy Management Program Coordinator to join our team! Position Summary: This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and promotion of HealthPartners MTM Program. Accountabilities include program coordination, evaluation, and utilization. This position works with many cross-functional teams and supports projects to promote and align department goals with HealthPartners’ initiatives and maintains awareness and helps to assess the viability of the existing program. Uses health care/pharmacy knowledge, as well as program and eligibility knowledge, to screen, enroll, audit, analyze and further promote the MTM program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field OR at least five years of experience in health care or pharmacy customer service, program coordination or related experience.
Minimum of two years general health care or pharmacy experience in a customer service oriented environment with a demonstrated understanding of healthcare and the HMO industry.
Strong background in customer service and care delivery.
Understanding of medical and pharmacy terminology.
Ability to establish and maintain diplomatic working relationships across all levels of organization.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues while meeting timelines.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Word and Excel aptitude.
Experience with and effective use and management of automated medical management systems and computer programs, as well as working knowledge of Internet based resources.
Demonstrated flexibility, organizational skills, and appropriate decision-making under challenging situations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MTM programs
Pharmacy technician, managed care or insurance setting experience.
Knowledge of CarePartner, HCSS, AHF Claims Processing System, and Epic.
