About The Position

The Program Coordinator II is responsible for providing supervisory oversight and hands-on administrative, operational, and programmatic support services within the Environmental Health & Safety Department. The position will provide a specific service or carry out specific activities as a separate entity or as a component program within the department. The primary objective of this position is to manage the Health System’s compliance with the regulatory requirements relative to the use of respirators. The candidate will be responsible for the annual fit testing of all personnel at all Health System and offsite locations as well as the oversight of other staff assigned to the Fit Testing Program. The candidate will be responsible for managing of and the quality assessment of all records related to the program and will be a resource on the specific requirements established by OSHA. May be assigned other OSHA or Joint Commission duties to support the EH&S department.

Requirements

  • Experience in providing supervisory oversight.
  • Experience in administrative, operational, and programmatic support services.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the use of respirators.
  • Experience in conducting annual fit testing.
  • Experience in quality assessment of records.
  • Resourcefulness regarding OSHA requirements.
