About The Position

Mays Business School is seeking a Program Coordinator I to support the administration and strategic development of program operations through database maintenance, CRM support, and data security management. In this role, you will build and maintain Salesforce components, including emails, dashboards, reports, event landing pages, and forms, while responding to and completing Salesforce work requests. The successful candidate will help ensure data integrity, support system enhancements, and provide reporting and analytics that contribute to program goals and team success. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. This role can be based in either College Station, TX or Houston, TX, depending on candidate location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of administrative, program, customer service, database, or related experience.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and cooperation with multiple program leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to conceptualize, organize, and provide constructive feedback to leadership.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and assist in planning, installing, and utilizing various software platforms.
  • A solid understanding of data management concepts—such as relational databases, data security, data governance, and database maintenance—is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of engaging effectively and providing excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate a high aptitude to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree.
  • Knowledge or experience in information systems.
  • Previous CRM experience.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Ability to function in a deadline-driven environment with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Texas A&M University systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Salesforce representative, overseeing assigned constituents.
  • Acts as the liaison between end-users and technical support groups to facilitate constituent needs.
  • Completes all work requests timely.
  • Works with Mays Marketing to provide Salesforce communications support.
  • Creates forms, portals, populations, fields, prompts, event templates, and automations, as needed.
  • Participates in annual cycle prep for multiple programs.
  • Follows established procedures in building Salesforce components.
  • Handles activities related to the security of data maintained in the Salesforce CRM Database.
  • Adheres to security protocols and access standards and criteria.
  • Serves on office search and planning committees.
  • May develop and update training materials and deliver training sessions.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and discussions for the innovation and improvement of the CRM.
