About The Position
Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Program Coordinator, Forensic Nurse Examiner in the Emergency Department. The Coordinator will oversee the Forensic Nurse Examiner program that provides a vital service and support to community victims of violence through specialized care and expertise in collecting forensic evidence to support the victims in their path.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's degree - Nursing (Required)
- Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Adult (SANEA) (Required)
- Registered Nurse license (Required)
- 2 years working experience in Forensic/Sex Assault nurse examinations (Required)
- 2 years of supervisory experience (Required)
- 3 years nursing experience in an acute care setting (Required)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Forensic Nurse Examiner program.
- Provide specialized care and expertise in collecting forensic evidence to support victims of violence.
