About The Position

The Program Coordinator - Domestic Student Recruitment, Outreach, and Orientation position plans and coordinates Butte College's Orientation programs for new students, including Reg2Go and seasonal orientation sessions. This role works collaboratively with campus departments to ensure students successfully transition into college, oversees Orientation Leaders and program logistics, and tracks data to support continuous improvement of the student onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Social Science area or a related field (e.g., Counseling, Business, Program Development).
  • Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience directly related to the responsibilities of this classification.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity and sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.
  • Complete and submit an online application with all required attachments.
  • Complete a medical history questionnaire.
  • Agree to undergo and pass a pre-employment physical examination.
  • Provide fingerprints prior to beginning work.
