The Department Program Coordinator is a hands-on, execution-focused role that provides operational, administrative, and process support to the Biologics department as a whole (not to an individual executive). This role combines elements of department-level executive assistance, administrative coordination, systems and content management, and ongoing process tracking. Beyond execution, this role requires analytical awareness and systems thinking. The incumbent is expected to continuously observe how work, information, and processes flow across the department; identify friction points, inefficiencies, or risks; and raise these observations during regular check-ins and operational discussions. While initial changes will be implemented with guidance and approval, the role is expected to mature over time into one with increased autonomy in refining and maintaining department operations. As part of USP's mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. USP prioritizes scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure health systems worldwide can rely on strong, tested, and globally relevant quality standards. Additionally, USP’s People and Culture division, in partnership with the Equity Office, invests in leadership and workforce development to equip all employees with the skills to create high-performing, inclusive teams. This includes training in equitable management practices and tools to promote engaged, collaborative, and results-driven work environments.
