Leading complex biologics new product development programs from ideation through to commercialization Establishing and owning program plans, timelines, KPIs, budgets and cross functional deliverables Partnering closely with R and D, Marketing, Quality, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to ensure program success and compliance Facilitating decision making related to scope, cost, schedule, product quality and lifecycle management Driving continuous improvement in NPD governance, processes and ways of working Acting as a change leader by introducing new standards, mindsets and ways of operating across teams What will you need to be successful? A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, with a Master’s degree preferred At least 8 years of experience in project management and/or NPD related fields within specified industry Hands on experience developing new products from inception through launch in a biologics, biomedical, pharmaceutical or similar environment Proven experience leading complex, global new product development programs Strong program and project management capability, supported by relevant industry standard certifications The ability to influence, collaborate and lead across diverse, cross functional teams You. The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $113,500 - $197,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, with a Master’s degree preferred
