The Program Coordinator will support the Program Manager and programming team in planning, coordinating, and implementing programs and events to meet the intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical needs of the residents, thereby positively contributing to their quality of life. This role involves developing and running varied programs for residents, including small discussion-based groups, creative and active groups, and PowerPoint presentations on diverse topics for larger groups. The coordinator will also plan and chaperone cultural and social outings, support programs offered by outside contributors, complete assisted living dailies and the monthly programming calendar, and schedule outside vendors. Additionally, the role requires creating advertisement flyers, submitting invoices, and interacting positively with residents, team members, and colleagues to build trusting relationships and accept responsibility for assigned tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask, anticipate needs, demonstrate initiative, and excel in community building, ultimately advancing the effort to create a meaningful, innovative, and vibrant best-in-class ALR.
