About The Position

The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for the day-to-day operations related to resident care in Assisted Living, promoting and integrating the mission and philosophy of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. The RCC manages the care staff by scheduling, evaluating, and supporting frontline care staff, reporting to the Health and Wellness Director (HWD). This role requires close contact with resident families, active participation in care plan meetings, and addressing service issues related to resident care.

Requirements

  • HS or GED
  • 3-5+ years caregiver experience preferred
  • CAN experience preferred
  • Scheduling experience
  • Experience communicating with families
  • Prefer CNA certification
  • Acceptable fluency in English to speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excel for scheduling
  • Must be organized, flexible, and even-tempered.
  • Ability to communicate with families, frontline team, and community management team to ensure optimal operational success.
  • Calm personality that possesses the ability to handle stressful situations with an easy demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through.
  • Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Support HWD by managing Assisted Living team members.
  • Schedule Assisted Living team members.
  • Participate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents and manage Individual Service Plans (ISPs) as resident needs change.
  • Promote all company policies by ensuring SLC communities are providing the best care possible for our residents.
  • Participate in weekly at-risk meetings with HWD, Executive Director (ED), and Memory Care Coordinator/Director (MCC/MCD) to ensure the leadership team is aware of all resident needs.
  • Review and implement all necessary processes for optimal operational efficiency, such as shower schedules, laundry schedules, and caregiver assignment sheets.
