About The Position

The Program Coordinator supports the success of AMCP Foundation initiatives by coordinating projects, programs, events, communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Collaborating seamlessly across AMCP departments and with external partners, this position ensures that AMCP Foundation initiatives are executed with precision, with a high level of service and support. The Program Coordinator manages multiple responsibilities simultaneously and contributes to achieving organizational goals. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position requires travel to AMCP Meetings and other designated meetings throughout the year.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with various databases, including Microsoft Office, Association Management Systems (AMS), CRM platforms, and social media tools.
  • Relationship-building: Ability to build and maintain ongoing, collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the organization's goals.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently within a team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. The degree may be replaced by relevant experience.
  • Experience in association management preferred.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and CMS preferred.
  • Interest in health care and/or pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of AMCP Foundation programs and events, including internships, residency programs, Competitions, grants/scholarships, awards, and other Foundation initiatives.
  • Manage program and event logistics, communications, timelines, materials, applications/portals, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful execution.
  • Recruit and support program participants, volunteers, judges, mentors, and other stakeholders.
  • Host and facilitate Foundation webinars and virtual events, including coordinating speakers, managing event logistics, supporting participant engagement, and video recordings, editing, and distributing webinar and other event recordings for promotional and educational use.
  • Coordinate AMCP Foundation activities at national AMCP meetings.
  • Support the promotion and visibility of Foundation programs, events, and opportunities through newsletters, social media, email communications, and other marketing channels.
  • Manage and maintain the AMCP Foundation website content to ensure information is accurate, current, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with AMCP departments, volunteers, sponsors, donors, contractors, and external partners to strengthen engagement and advance Foundation initiatives.
  • Maintain and support Foundation online communities and engagement on AMCP Collaborate and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor Foundation contact inboxes. Respond to or forward inquiries as appropriate.
  • Coordinate contracting and administrative processes with colleges and schools of pharmacy participating in Foundation programs.
  • Maintain program records, participant data, and supporting documentation to ensure efficient program operations.
  • Support the Foundation Director and cross-functional teams in advancing Foundation priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
