About The Position

This role is crucial for supporting the fundraising team in building and maintaining partnerships with the corporate and foundation community. The Corporate & Foundation Relations Coordinator acts as the backbone of the team, ensuring operational excellence and providing development support. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate systems, managing deadlines, gathering information for proposals, and supporting grant-related activities. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit development, grants administration, fundraising support, or a closely related field (internship experience counts).
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nonprofit Management, Communications, English, Business, or a related field. Relevant work experience is equally valued.
  • Clear writing skills to translate complex program work into language suitable for different audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately.
  • Comfortable in CRM systems and office tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to research and synthesize information about funders, programs, and community needs.
  • Collaborative and responsive team player who can own tasks from briefing to completion.
  • Genuine connection to the mission and a desire to support food service workers.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, organized, focused, and resourceful when priorities shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with record upkeep in Salesforce, including contact information, gift history, deadlines, and relationship notes.
  • Produce acknowledgment letters and documentation for gifts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the Director and Corporate Development Officers in preparing proposals, presentations, and partnership decks by gathering data, compiling impact stories, and formatting materials.
  • Track and manage the CFR team's grant and reporting calendar, flagging deadlines and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Coordinate logistics for cultivation and stewardship events, including preparing briefing materials, capturing meeting notes, and documenting next steps.
  • Craft customized stewardship reports and impact updates, translating program outcomes and client stories into compelling language.
  • Work with internal teams to gather program data, client outcomes, and relevant statistics for reporting.
  • Ensure partners receive timely recognition and acknowledgment according to their partnership terms.
  • Create and evolve a stewardship toolkit for consistent partner interactions.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify foundation funding opportunities aligned with the mission and programs.
  • Draft letters of inquiry and first-stage applications for new foundation prospects.
  • Manage grant compliance and reporting for a portfolio of foundation and government grants (under $50K), including tracking deliverables and drafting narrative reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of all grant activity in Salesforce, including submissions, awards, deadlines, and funder communications.
