About The Position

The Program Coordinator - Adult Undergraduate Programs plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of adult-focused undergraduate initiatives, including the Wayfinder Program (Knollcrest campus cohort and Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility cohort) and Adult Degree Completion pathways. This position expands the director’s capacity to serve adult learners by supporting cross-divisional projects, coordinating communications, facilitating program delivery, and improving operational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in higher education, program coordination, or related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills

  • Experience working with adult, incarcerated, or nontraditional learners preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project timelines, workflows, and communication plans to support effective program execution.
  • Create detailed timelines of program operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to enhance student experience and team effectiveness.
  • Schedule and communicate cross-departmental communications and monthly operational meetings with campus partners (including admissions, registrar, financial aid, and student life) to ensure seamless adult learner support.
  • Track progress toward key program goals, producing annual impact reports for Wayfinder and Degree Completion programs, and contribute to data-informed recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist the Director of Continuing Studies with project management of grant activities and the compilation of narrative/data for grant opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) processes in collaboration with the Director of Continuing Studies, faculty leads in degree completion, and the registrar’s office.
  • Keep detailed notes in CRMs (Slate, Workday, and Salesforce) on students.
  • Partner with adult undergraduate team members to support high-quality program delivery.
  • Lead and facilitate a selection of: Orientation sessions (twice per year), Informational webinars (monthly), Community presentations and partnership meetings (monthly), Intake and advising appointments (weekly).
  • Contribute to scaling programs in sustainable and efficient ways.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Continuing Studies.
