About The Position

As a finance team member of the Electronic Attack Solutions (EAS) Product line, you will work on the execution and closeout process of the Compass Call Test Equipment programs. This is a unique opportunity to experience lead an experienced program. Project finance plans, controls and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Project finance is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience with Program Controls / Program Finance.
  • Proficiency in iPortal, Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, Cobra and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding and forecasting of key financial salients which includes orders, funding, sales, margin (gross, net), cash, collections and product cost.
  • Experience implementing Earned Value Management processes.
  • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional work teams.
  • Pursuant to a U.S. Government contract, selected individual must be a U.S. Person.
  • Ability to operate with high degree of autonomy, exercising initiative and persistence to resolve issues and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate and understandable manner.
  • General knowledge of industry practices and standards.
