About The Position

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Program Control Analyst. This is an onsite position located at AFRL and requires a TS/SCI. In this position, you will support project management activities and oversee financial reporting. You’ll be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and validating contract financial data to ensure accuracy and alignment with all contract requirements and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline and 5 years' experience in an accounting/finance position or other relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years experience performing financial records processing and management
  • Experience and deep familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) procedures and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advance experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for aggregating, gathering and checking data in the preparation and analysis of complex program/project financial and scheduling data and other complex contract, project or business-related task.
  • Monitors & reports progress of program/project cost performance against plans to facilitate contractual cost obligations are met.
  • Prepares complex financial/administrative reports and distributes to customer/user organizations.
  • Provides weekly and monthly transactional and ROM pricing support to programs.
  • Prepares non-routine financial reports.
  • Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
  • Interfaces with customers on financial issues if necessary and performs extensive investigations as required.
  • Coordinates response to internal and external data calls with Program Managers, BU Directors and Senior Leadership
  • Maintain a state of readiness, including supporting documentation, for internal and regulatory audits, which may be scheduled or unscheduled.
