MassHire Department of Career Services (MDCS) oversees the Commonwealth's network of One-Stop Career Centers, that assist businesses in finding qualified workers and providing job seekers with career guidance, as well as referral to jobs and training. MDCS strengthens the Career Center system through continuous improvement processes, and innovative business practices that maximize resources, foster partnerships, and engage employers to ensure a skilled, motivated, and adaptable workforce capable of meeting the emerging labor market needs of the Commonwealth, now and in the future. The Program Compliance Supervisor conducts comprehensive quality assurance and compliance monitoring across all MDCS‑administered workforce development programs within the MassHire Career Center system. Working both independently and as part of a team, the position coordinates and performs systems certification reviews, data validation, program quality assessments, and other monitoring activities to ensure that statewide programs, processes and activities meet federal and state operational and performance requirements. Duties include reviewing and analyzing program operational data from the Massachusetts case management system to verify the integrity of service delivery practices. Programs monitored include Wagner‑Peyser Employment Services, WIOA Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker programs, Veterans services, National Dislocated Worker Grants (NDWG) and state initiatives. Support is also coordinated with the State Monitoring Advocate related to the Migrant Seasonal Farmworker Program. The position ensures that all services comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the statewide workforce system.
