About The Position

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CC-Call Center department at Greenville Technical College. Under general supervision, the Program Assistant provides administrative and customer service support for Greenville Technical College’s Customer Care Team, with a focus on Continuing Education registration support. This position is a part-time temporary staff role in the Customer Care Team not to exceed 25 hours/week. Requirements

  • A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
  • A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
  • Must have strong administrative experience and be able to demonstrate skill with Microsoft Office, Excel, and database (SIS/CRM) in a higher ed or business setting.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of data collection and the ability to communicate effectively via multiple communication methods (email, phone, person to person).
  • Possess a high degree of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Has demonstrable ability to utilize analytical and problem solving skills when addressing solutions of administrative concern.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year relevant program experience; or associate's degree in a related field plus three (3) years relevant program experience; or HS diploma plus five (5) years relevant program experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and customer service support for Greenville Technical College’s Customer Care Team, with a focus on Continuing Education registration support.
  • Respond to student inquiries through multiple communication methods, including email, phone, TDX ticket, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist with Continuing Education registration intake, payment processing, documentation review, lead tracking, and follow-up.
  • Collect, organize, enter, and maintain accurate data related to Continuing Education enrollment activity.
  • Use Microsoft Office, Excel, and Modern Campus/SIS systems to support administrative functions, data tracking, communication, and reporting needs.
  • Coordinates supply replenishment and printing needs for CE Conversation Room.
  • Exercise sound judgment, poise, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism when interacting with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address routine administrative concerns and identify issues that require escalation to the Lead CE Registration Administrative Coordinator I.
