Under the supervision of the PREP Program Manager, the Program Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the PREP team. This position helps ensure that client records, team information, supplies, and routine program data are organized, accurate, current, and readily accessible. The Program Assistant works closely with clinical and program staff to support efficient team operations and promote timely, coordinated services for clients experiencing early psychosis. The PREP team provides community-based coordinated specialty care services for young people (age 13-26) who have had a recent first episode of psychosis or who are at clinical high risk for developing psychosis. The team’s work includes supporting clients and their families as well as providing community education related to early psychosis. The PREP team includes medical prescribers (MD and APRN), clinical therapists, case management, occupational therapy, peer support, and supported education/employment services. Most of the work is done in the community. PREP serves a growing caseload of 50+ clients.
