About The Position

This Position is temporary and limited to 900 hours. This role will support research and the creation of sustainability educational materials and project publications, including data collection and analysis concerning urban sustainability, and professional tasks for sponsored project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.

Nice To Haves

Graduate degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Environmental Science, Engineering, or Sustainability related discipline.
Specialized knowledge of graphic design, visualization, and spatial data analysis.
Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, Rhinoceros 3D, AutoDesk Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, Lumion, ArcGIS.
Demonstrated sense of responsibility and reliability.

Responsibilities

Provide support to team lead/project PI with professional support tasks related to sponsored project execution, publication preparation, and future proposal development.
Provide knowledge and expertise in graphic design and data visualization.
Assist in the environmental data collection and analysis related to land use, economic and community development, and urban sustainability planning.
Assist in developing and updating educational materials and websites related to environmental sustainability.
Assist in other ad hoc duties related to the project or assigned.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
