Under the supervision of the management of the French Language Teaching Centre (CEF), the Program Assistant coordinates a program of diversified and fun activities aimed at supporting the French language learning of McGill University students. This person will assume the main tasks of planning, coordinating, and following up on educational, cultural, and student activity programs, organizing logistical aspects of workshops, conferences, and special events, collaborating on annual or quarterly programming, coordinating registrations, reservations, schedules, material resources, suppliers, and technical needs. They will also act as a liaison with participants, speakers, facilitators, university partners, and external collaborators, and will be responsible for developing, producing, and disseminating communications and promotional tools. Additionally, they will draft, revise, and translate various documents, animate or co-animate workshops when required, compile participation data, prepare statistics, produce reports, and ensure the operational coordination of events on the day of, including welcoming participants and resolving logistical issues. Finally, they will develop, document, and maintain administrative procedures, guides, and tools to ensure operational efficiency and continuity.
