About The Position

BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. From toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community. Across our 60+ locations, we provide programs in a variety of service areas, including workforce development, children, youth, families, seniors and homeless prevention. The Westchester Avenue Safe Haven (WASH) is a 63-bed, low-barrier shelter operated by BronxWorks for chronically street-homeless adults aged 50 and older. Rooted in the Housing First model, WASH provides comprehensive on-site services including case management, psychiatric and medical care, substance use support, meals, and assistance with housing placement.
