About The Position
Prospect Heights School District 23 has an opening for a full-time (1.00 FTE) Special Education Program Assistant for the 2026-27 school year at Eisenhower Elementary School. Salary for this position is dependent upon full-time years of experience in the same position starting at $22.63/hour and eligibility for full benefits and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Requirements
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License (ELS (PARA)), SUB license or Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Ability to support a variety of student needs to take full advantage of classroom instruction
- Flexibility with job responsibilities
