About The Position

Provide support to programs in logistics coordination of classes, and the planning and organizing and reporting of activities of assigned program area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and completion of 36 semester units of college-level coursework from an accredited institution; or a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of full-time work experience in an administrative or administrative support role; or a combination of education and work experience as stated totaling 2 years.
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel database, spreadsheet and presentation programs
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates class set-up by assisting marketing, providing customer services, managing program records and assisting in program management.
  • Creates master files and generates course information sheets in Microsoft 365, My College.
  • Monitors, records and updates program hours and reports them to CASE.
  • Schedules classroom spaces, arranges and sets up room for classes.
  • Prepares facility for classes and ensures that work areas are clean and neat; ensures that equipment, materials, and handouts are laid out for classes.
  • Assists in the planning, promotion and presentation of marketing events.
  • Advises students and clients regarding class schedules and attendance.
  • Researches and evaluates new equipment and makes recommendations regarding purchase decisions.
  • Monitors Registered students, adds/drops and updates program documents accordingly.
  • Maintains records of session/class activities and student files including grades and attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
