About The Position

As a program and project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need a seasoned program and project management specialist like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. As a leader on our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of SATCOM for the U.S. Space Force. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and program cost accounting. You’ll help with strategic and tactical planning and have regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, project analysts, and other support staff. The real impact of program and project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets quality standards. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with project management and leadership, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunity management
  • 7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations
  • 7+ years of experience implementing Agile frameworks and methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile program increment planning, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, including using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with DoD space vehicles, ground systems, and satellite design, development, and testing
  • Experience with configuration management and engineering change proposals
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients within cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team consisting of engineering and program management specialists
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience with Award Fee or Incentive Fee oversight and performance evaluations
  • Experience working with new technology programs for embedded systems
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
