CUNY School of Law invites applications for the position of Program and Development Manager of the Institute on Gender, Law, and Transformative Peace. The Institute serves as a hub for cross-sectoral, cross-movement, and transnational organizing, research, and scholarship. It works to advance the cutting edge of rights-based approaches to national and international law and policy, including peace and transitional justice processes, reconstruction, and human rights mechanisms. The Institute partners with local organizers and communities to strengthen movement-building initiatives from around the world. The Institute seeks a dynamic Program and Development Manager to support day-to-day program operations, proposal writing, communications, and related program outreach. Reporting to the Managing Director at the Institute, the Program and Development Manager will be responsible for managing essential aspects of program operations, outreach, and tracking of program information. This includes program operations, outreach, and assisting in the smooth running of all events, programs, and outreach. This position will also assist in contributing to the communications portfolio, including internal and external communications, blog posts, news articles, including editing documents and publications, among other tasks as needed. Due to periodic deadlines and special events, some nights and weekend hours are occasionally required for this position.
