About The Position

The Program and Data Manager is the senior programmatic and operational lead for the Harlem Bureau of Neighborhood Health’s Creating Healthy Schools & Communities program, a New York State Department of Health funded initiative. The Program and Data Manager plays a critical role in operationalizing grant goals into sustainable, community-centered activities aligned with the Harlem BNH’s priorities, cross-bureau initiatives, and community residents and partnerships.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Public health
• 2-3 years of experience managing complex, community-based public health programs
• 2-3 years of experience with grant management, budgeting and contract oversight
• 2-3 years of experience with schools and community-based partners

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, monitoring, and reporting for programmatic, community engagement, and evaluation activities
• Identify and disseminate best practices
• Utilize Public Health Partners Connect and other Harlem Bureau data systems to track participation, partnerships, and outcomes.
• Integrate CHSC data with broader Harlem Bureau reporting systems
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for internal teams, funders and external partners
• Presenting neighborhood health data to partners to inform shared strategies and collective action
• Other duties as assigned are to support the overall goals and mission of the department/ organization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, community-based organizations, city and state agencies, and local community leaders.
• Build and support coalitions to leverage resources, strengthen coordination, and increase program sustainability
• Provide training and technical assistance to partners implementing CHSC-aligned activities
