About The Position

The Order of Malta - Federal Association, U.S.A., a Roman Catholic lay religious order and 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Dupont Circle, Washington, DC, has an immediate opening for a full-time Program & Administrative Coordinator. This Program & Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Executive Director and will assist in the management functioning of the Executive Office. S/he will join an office team supporting the wide range work(s) of members in the Federal Association. This is a full-time and in-person position that reports to the Executive Director, with much opportunity for professional advancement.

Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Manage deadlines and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Office: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Administrative management with the Executive Director (e.g., written and verbal communications, schedule arrangements, etc.)
  • Special event planning and project coordination
  • Member services support
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed
