About The Position

Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Program Analyst to support the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Ice Breaker, Buoy, and Construction Tender Product Line (IBCTPL) in Baltimore, MD. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain CAC clearance.
  • This position requires passing an extensive background check.
  • 2 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
  • Must have a working knowledge of varying Coast Guard processes, principles, and tools. These include databases used to review, maintain, and update cutter maintenance records.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the SFLC discrepancy response process for Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and Electronics (ELEX) response including use of Electronic Asset Logbook (EAL), and other IT systems used to perform discrepancy response tasks. This includes proper formatting in USCG IT Systems.
  • Proficient in the use of current IT tools, such as 1 Log Portal, CGBI(Navigator), STIP/TIMS, CG-PART, WEBFLIS, NESSS, FLS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power Point to collect, validate, and format various types of reports.
  • Strong communication skills will be required to support engagement and training with both customers (cutters) and PL personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Support in engineering, customer service, discrepancy checklist consolidation and database management.
  • Perform tasks that include but are not limited: assisting IBCTPL discrepancy response by validating reports and conducting all data entry and documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures and process guides.
  • Collect, review, validate, update, and analyze discrepancy data maintained by individual HM&E and ELEX asset managers.
  • Review, maintain, and update cutter maintenance records.
  • Input all pertinent discrepancy data into required USCG IT Systems and perform regular updates to maintain database accuracy.
  • Provide support to assist with data analysis and logistical support.
  • Review and analyze fleet maintenance reports to establish and monitor maintenance procedure development including organizational maintenance completion results.
  • Review and analyze allowance list parts information to assist with requirements for maintenance and budget purposes. This will require gathering information from NESSS and 1 log Portal or equivalent IT tool.
  • Collect, input, edit, extract, consolidate, analyze, report, present and maintain historical information for CG-22s, FLS-MAM concerns, integration data, MPC status, and section project summaries.
  • Analysis will include forecasting trends based on data analysis of various mathematical and other means (linear trend, Weibull analysis, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned.
