About The Position

Davis Defense Group, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to join their Advance Development Team — Engineering (PMA 213). This role involves applying analytic techniques to evaluate program/project objectives, analyzing requirements, status, budget, and schedules, and performing management, technical, or business case analyses. The analyst will collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs, track program/project status and schedules, and apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control, and data management. The position also supports and tracks Configuration Management for assigned projects.

Requirements

At least 3 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field or supplemental experience is required.
Secret clearance required.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.

Responsibilities

Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs.
Tracks program/project status and schedules.
Applies government-instituted process for documentation, change control management and data management.
Supports and tracks Configuration Management or assigned projects.
Attends, supports and updates program/project briefings, schedules and acquisitions documentation.
Conducts research, business case analysis and technical reviews of in support of assigned programs/projects.
Reviews and provides recommendations to program/project budgets, support program/project team leadership in management, tracking of acquisitions milestones, cost schedule & performance documentation, and other assign duties as required.
Supports the configuration management board, review engineering documentation.
