Program Analyst III Description of Specific Duties in a Typical Workday for this Position: Support the team lead with planning, development, and execution of projects in a fast-paced environment. Schedule and coordinate meetings and activities for the CIO. Prepare and review briefings, reports, and other documentation to support trainings, workshops, and policy implementation. Assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business Rules. Record meeting minutes and track action items to completion. Manage and respond to tasks and document reviews in the task management system. Lead or support projects by tracking progress, risks, and providing regular status updates. Write and review staff papers, studies, and policy documents. Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies to support mission objectives. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, DoD acquisition, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word).
  • At least 1 year of experience with SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and DoD acquisition processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting JPEO-CBRND or other DoD acquisition offices.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with government task management and staffing systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
