About The Position

Chenega is seeking to hire an experienced Program Analyst III to assist with coordination of various activities and documents to provide contracts and grants management execution support. Analyze and summarize annual reports from grantees. This resource will work within the ARX Management and Operation team within CDC Division Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or a minimum of 5 years project coordination experience in public health, government, grants management or acquisition management
  • Strong Analytical skills, project coordination and prioritization skills
  • Experience working in deadline-driven environment, proven ability to track and monitor several projects and process simultaneously
  • Ability to understand the needs of the agency funding and the organization that is offering the funds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex management and administrative duties requiring attention to detail and analysis.
  • Strategic planning and financial analysis, including assisting in preparation of specialized program and project budgets and reports (e.g., technical reviews, carryover requests, contract modifications) to support operational needs
  • Maintain records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepare a variety of written correspondence, reports and other materials as appropriate
  • Monitor and perform day-to-day operations of the program to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively; take corrective action as necessary.
  • Perform various administrative duties requiring oversight, attention to detail and an perform strategic planning and financial analysis, including assisting in preparation of project budgets to include operational needs.
  • Prioritize and allocate available program resources; review and evaluate program and service delivery, make recommendations for and execute changes in operations to ensure maximum effective service provision; assist in developing new program function elements, including researching, compiling and analyzing supporting data.
  • Attend approved conferences and meetings in relations to communications and antimicrobial resistance activities.
  • Attend CDC approved trainings required to learn new government systems to complete required tasks.
