About The Position

The Program Analyst II position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. (SEWS) in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a hybrid role requiring at least four days per week in the office with flexibility for off-site work. The primary function is to provide Program Management support by coordinating, analyzing, and tracking issues for specific programs. This role involves close collaboration with Program Managers to ensure cross-functional team alignment and supporting/leading internal and external customer meetings. A key responsibility includes updating the MPP for plant information for all programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years' experience with automotive wire harness process/automotive experience.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile cost matrix against CR in Ford System. Update parts list (part walk format). Update CMM with cost matrix information.
  • Process PSTS requests for Prototype by generating/consolidating requests based on harness picks from systems. Update levels based on pending CN's and CR's. Send requests to Engineering to verify levels.
  • Process PSTS requests for IAA/Trials by consolidating information sent from Engineering and sending out requests. Track PSTS/shipping.
  • Reconcile EDI orders for Pre-Production Orders to confirm correct levels are being ordered.
  • Track all IAA/Trials and/or reworks on the Alert/IAA Tracker matrix to ensure invoicing is completed. Track 3rd Party invoices to ensure NTE is not exceeded. Facilitate the Alert/IAA Tracker (matrix) and respective team meetings.
  • Review all CCR's (external and internal). Assist with obtaining timing for all engineering changes, ensuring response time meets customer needs. Review the first page to determine if internal changes need escalation.
  • Assist Program Manager with miscellaneous tasks, including leading internal meetings, preparing for internal/external meetings, and managing documents/tracking tools (e.g., Smart Sheets, Balance Out Tracking, Alert/IAA Tracking).
  • Update MPP for plant information.
