About The Position

SAIC is looking for a Program Analyst Associate for our Crane, IN location. This role involves overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management, planning, the project team, and line management. The associate will review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. They will also assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are met, including defining and implementing project planning techniques for contract visibility. Work is closely supervised, following specific, detailed instructions, with contributions typically limited to task-related activities. Contacts are primarily with the immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the group.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.
  • Developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
