About The Position

The Bus Driver is responsible for transporting youth to/from school and other off site events, as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Must obtain/maintain a current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification (within first 90 days of employment)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
• Meet the insurance standards of Boys & Girls Club of the Valley.

• Working knowledge of federal and state laws and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Youth Development service delivery

Responsibilities

• Transporting youth to/from school and other off site events, as needed.
• Participate in investigations.
• Support the physical property and assets of the Club.
• Manage small and large groups of youth in various settings.
• Implement effective individual behavior management.
• Maintain and cultivate excellent member/family and community relationships.
• Interact effectively and communicate (in writing and orally) with a variety of youth, staff, volunteers, families, and community members.
• Establish learning objectives for program and activities.
• Articulate for giving, serve as an ambassador, engage in relationship building and promote philanthropy.
• Support the efficiency of Volunteers and future workforce needs to support volunteer program operations.
