About The Position

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Shermans Dale, PA is seeking to hire a full-time entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves supporting individuals with disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives as part of a dedicated and motivated team. It is a human services career where you can make a real difference. Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) earn a competitive wage of $17.12/hour plus an additional $1/hour shift differential. You would also be eligible for our generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time staff at NO COST for the employee-only coverage. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. You assist with activities of daily living such as household maintenance, transportation, administration of medications, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and more. Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Access to a vehicle during working hours
Punctual and reliable
Ability to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

Provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
