Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, communications, business (or related field) PLUS four (4) years programmatic & executive level support, correspondence & writing correspondence in a professional capacity OR HS diploma/GED PLUS eight (8) years professional and executive administrative & programmatic support including professional correspondence and writing experience.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point with Intermediate Level Proficiency.
  • At least 5 years’ experience preparing executive level correspondence including letters, resumes, CV’s, letters of reference, various support letters and other general and professional correspondence and documents.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in administration, communications, business or related.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical programs, educational activities, physician outreach, and special projects.
  • Collect, maintain, and report program and registry data.
  • Support research and grant activities, including literature searches and document preparation.
  • Prepare monthly budget reports and assist with financial planning, purchasing, and invoicing.
  • Manage faculty calendars, meetings, clinical schedules, and educational responsibilities.
  • Maintain faculty curricula vitae, biosketches, medical licenses, memberships, credentialing, and reappointment documents.
  • Assist with promotion and tenure packets and prepare professional correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, speaking engagements, and domestic and international travel.
  • Process purchasing, travel, reimbursements, and encumbrances according to UAMS and state policies.
  • Manage the departmental inventory database and complete the annual inventory.
  • Prepare, review, and edit presentations, letters, reports, and other professional documents.
  • Provide administrative support and coverage to other divisions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
