The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, Clinical Practice, Innovation and Research (CliPIR) Division invites applications for one 12-month position at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor with tenure. The faculty member will join a division whose mission is to promote pharmacists’ roles in high-quality, safe, and effective medication use through interdisciplinary research and education. The faculty member will be responsible for developing an independent research program. The faculty member will have responsibility for teaching Pharm.D. students in the professional program related to their areas of expertise. PharmD teaching topics may include provision and payment of health services, health communication, pharmacy management, medication safety, and/or quality improvement, pharmacy law, and ethics, and the opportunity to contribute to elective pharmacy courses. The faculty member will contribute to the Health Services Research in Pharmacy (HSRP) graduate program with responsibility for graduate student mentorship, teaching, and collaborative scholarship. They will also participate in service to the school, university, and/or profession. Applicants for this position will be considered for all three professor titles. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. Level and pay are commensurate with experience. The anticipated start date merely reflects the earliest possible start date. New hires may begin on a date later than the one listed.
