Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law (Open Rank)
About The Position
The University of Arkansas School of Law is seeking applicants for a 9-month, 100% appointed, tenure/tenure track assistant, associate or full professor (based on qualifications) starting in the 2027-2028 academic year. The teaching duties will be divided between its signature LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law and JD Program. There is a strong interest in agriculture and the environment for the LL.M. program courses. Candidates must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent record of scholarship or, at the entry level, a strong potential for scholarship. Successful candidates will also show a commitment to service within and outside the University. Lateral candidates are encouraged to apply. Requirements
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school or an international law degree
- A distinguished academic record
- Demonstrated scholarly promise
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
