Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Law
About The Position
The University of Toledo College of Law invites applications to fill one or more tenure-track or tenured positions at the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor. Curricular priorities include Constitutional Law and one or more of the following: upper-level business courses, professional responsibility, trusts and estates, environmental law, and intellectual property. The core responsibilities of this position include teaching courses, scholarly research and writing, and service to students, the College of Law, the University, and the broader legal community. The University of Toledo is a comprehensive metropolitan R1 public university with graduate programs in Law, Medicine, Engineering, and Pharmacy, among others. The Toledo metropolitan area, with a population of over 650,000, is located on the Western shore of Lake Erie and boasts a world-class art museum, lively cultural scene, popular Triple-A baseball team, and a very affordable cost of living.
Requirements
- Juris doctorate with an outstanding academic record
- A record of scholarly achievement or demonstrated potential for scholarly achievement
