This is a faculty position responsible to the Chief of the Section of Neuropsychology and the Chair of the Department of Neuro-Oncology. The role involves providing clinical neuropsychological expertise in patient care and management for adult patients with cancer, those suffering from the neurological effects of cancer on the central nervous system, and patients with various medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions. The position also includes participating in teaching fellows, externs, and graduate student trainees, engaging in clinical research related to the neuropsychological complications of cancer, and overseeing assigned technicians. Fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology is required, with additional training or experience in oncology being desired but not mandatory. Candidates must meet the criteria for full licensure in Texas.
