North Greenville University is seeking applications for the position of Chair of the Department of Sport Management, and Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Sport Management, starting with the 2026-27 Academic Year. The rank and compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience. Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in Sport Management/Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. Essential qualifications include excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and demonstrated leadership, vision, and collaborative skills to support the department and college's successful operation. A key requirement is the ability to integrate biblical faith into the teaching discipline. Prior leadership experience as a Chair or Program Coordinator is considered advantageous. North Greenville University, affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, expects its faculty to be orthodox Christians with a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, serving as role models in piety and ethics, maintaining active membership in an evangelical congregation, and mentoring students both academically and spiritually. Faculty are expected to be Christian scholars who approach their discipline from a biblical worldview and teach in accordance with the university’s Statement on Human Flourishing.
