The Windsor, Quebec, Canada facility is seeking skilled individuals for the position of Environmental Professional. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Requirements

Engineer or holder of a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
Specialization in environment.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Very good knowledge of English.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the pulp and paper industry (an asset).

Responsibilities

Maintain the environmental compliance of the plant's operations and, as needed, obtain or modify authorizations.
Ensure daily monitoring of operational and environmental parameters and statistics, and participate in problem-solving.
Participate in the maintenance and effectiveness of the environmental management system.
Support wastewater treatment.
Participate in the industrial waste valorization program.
Prepare various monthly and annual legal reports (water sampling, annual fees, INRP, GHG, etc.).
Carry out specific projects and sustainable development trials, particularly in circular economy, GHG reduction, and water consumption reduction.
Respond to daily requests and provide technical environmental support.
Establish collaboration and communication with other teams in the department and various internal clients.
Participate in continuous improvement activities related to the environment.
