About The Position

A long-standing surveying and engineering company is seeking to hire a Professional Surveyor to perform field and office duties to complete surveying and mapping projects throughout Ohio. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits.

Requirements

Registration as an Ohio Professional Surveyor.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team/crew.
Experience with ODOT Surveying and Mapping Specifications.
Prequalification as an ODOT Right of Way Designer and/or Reviewer.
Ability to prepare, review, and adhere to project budgets and schedules.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Experience with one or all: GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, Terrestrial Scanners, data collectors, automatic levels, drones.
Use of computer systems and software including: MS Office, Word, Excel, Trimble Business Center, Open Roads Designer. (Civil 3D optional).
Experience researching property, road records, chain of title, easements.
Ability to determine alignments and property boundaries by resolving field evidence and record documents.
Preparation of legal descriptions, closure reports.
Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
