About The Position
First Children Services is hiring across multiple education and clinical staff roles in North Bergen, New Jersey, and the surrounding Northern New Jersey region. Openings include teachers in special education, TOD, and related instructional roles; paraprofessionals and instructional aides; and clinic-based behavior technicians, with training provided for BT roles. The organization will help candidates identify an opportunity that aligns with their experience and goals. Roles are available as full-time, exempt and part-time, non-exempt positions. Staff work in smaller, individualized environments supporting children with behavioral, mental health, and physical needs. They collaborate with educators, clinicians, and support professionals to support students and families. First Children Services serves more than 1,000 children and families every day.
Requirements
- Experience in education, behavioral health, or working with children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- For behavior technician roles, willingness to learn and receive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
