About The Position
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Professional Services II to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role involves designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support, collaborating with stakeholders on requirements and migration strategies, acting as a trusted advisor on industry trends, and sharing knowledge within the organization. The position is 40 hours per week, with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
- 3 years of design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications
- 3 years of experience with software development tools and methodologies
- 3 years of experience with AWS, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
- 3 years of experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
