About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embryology Laboratory Coordinator to join our Boise, Idaho team. The successful candidate will play a central role in coordinating laboratory and on‑farm activities, ensuring quality control, leading teams, and maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders. This role will require a strong willingness to travel across the Pacific Northwest. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Biology, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of embryology experience (experience with Trans Ova Genetics preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce accurate, high‑quality technical work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client‑focused approach
  • Ability to work extended hours, up to 14 hours per day, during peak seasonal periods (April–June, November–December)
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to organizational standards and continuous development

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily in‑clinic laboratory operations and on‑farm embryo transfer activities
  • Perform technical embryology procedures including oocyte maturation, embryo searching and grading, freezing and thawing, loading, and embryo transfer
  • Maintain laboratory quality control standards, equipment functionality, and adherence to established protocols
  • Organize, document, and communicate embryo information with client services teams and recipient herds
  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to embryologists, production assistants, and interns
  • Lead and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives and performance metric tracking
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues within standard operating procedures
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with team members, veterinarians, supervisors, and clients
